These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service") accessible from https://www.idriss.xyz.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and are not barred from using our Service under the applicable laws.

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service.


4. Third-Party Services

The IDriss browser extension facilitates access to services and content provided by third parties via APIs and decentralized smart contracts. We are not liable for any actions taken within these third-party integrations nor for the content provided through them. Access to these integrations requires you to adhere to the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party services you use through our platform, in addition to the conditions listed below.

Access to the Gitcoin integration is subject to the general terms of our Service. We hold no responsibility for any actions performed within these third-party integrations or for the content they deliver.

4.2 Snapshot

Access to the Snapshot integration is subject to the general terms of our Service. We hold no responsibility for any actions performed within these third-party integrations or for the content they deliver.

4.3 Polymarket

Adapted directly from the Terms of Service of Polymarket, available at https://polymarket.com/tos, the following conditions apply:

THE POLYMARKET INTEGRATION IS NOT OFFERED TO PERSONS OR ENTITIES WHO RESIDE IN, ARE CITIZENS OF, ARE LOCATED IN, ARE INCORPORATED IN, OR HAVE A REGISTERED OFFICE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (COLLECTIVELY, “US PERSONS”). MOREOVER, THE POLYMARKET INTEGRATION IS NOT OFFERED TO PERSONS OR ENTITIES WHO RESIDE IN, ARE LOCATED IN, ARE INCORPORATED IN, OR HAVE A REGISTERED OFFICE IN ANY RESTRICTED TERRITORY. THE RESTRICTED TERRITORIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: ALGERIA, BANGLADESH, BOLIVIA, BELARUS, BURUNDI, BURMA (MYANMAR), COTE D'IVOIRE (IVORY COAST), CRIMEA AND SEVASTOPOL, CUBA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, ECUADOR, IRAN, IRAQ, LIBERIA, LIBYA, MALI, MOROCCO, NEPAL, NORTH KOREA, SOMALIA, SUDAN, SYRIA, VENEZUELA, YEMEN, ZIMBABWE OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY TO WHICH CANADA, PANAMA, THE UNITED STATES, THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE EUROPEAN UNION EMBARGOES GOODS OR IMPOSES SIMILAR SANCTIONS (COLLECTIVELY, “RESTRICTED TERRITORIES”). IF YOU ARE A US PERSON OR YOU ARE A RESIDENT, NATIONAL, OR AGENT OF ANY OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED COUNTRIES, OR ACTING ON BEHALF OF SUCH A PERSON, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE POLYMARKET INTEGRATION. USE OF A VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK (“VPN”) TO CIRCUMVENT THESE RESTRICTIONS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

As a condition to accessing or using Polymarket services through the IDriss browser extension, you represent and warrant to us the following:

  • Legal Capacity: If you are entering into these Terms as an individual, you are of legal age in the jurisdiction in which you reside and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and be bound by them. If you are entering these Terms on behalf of an entity, you have the legal authority to accept these Terms on that entity’s behalf, in which case “you” refers to that entity.
  • Restricted Territories: You are not a resident, national, or agent of any of the following countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Belarus, Burundi, Burma (Myanmar), Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Crimea and Sevastopol, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Nepal, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, or any other country to which Canada, Panama, the United States, the United Kingdom, or the European Union embargoes goods or imposes similar sanctions (collectively, “Restricted Territories”).
  • Sanctions Lists: You are not a member of any sanctions list or equivalent maintained by the Panamanian government, the United States government, the United Kingdom government, the European Union, or the United Nations (collectively, “Sanctions Lists Persons”) and you do not intend to transact with any Restricted Person or Sanctions List Person.
  • VPN and Anonymization Tools: You do not, and will not, use VPN software or any other privacy or anonymization tools or techniques to circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any restrictions that apply to the Services.
  • Compliance with Applicable Laws: Your access to the Services is not prohibited by and does not otherwise violate or assist you to violate any domestic or foreign law, rule, statute, regulation, by-law, order, protocol, code, decree, or another directive, requirement, or guideline, published or in force that applies to or is otherwise intended to govern or regulate any person, property, transaction, activity, event or other matter, including any rule, order, judgment, directive or other requirement or guideline issued by any domestic or foreign federal, provincial or state, municipal, local or other governmental, regulatory, judicial or administrative authority having jurisdiction over the Company, you, the Site or the Services, or as otherwise duly enacted, enforceable by law, the common law or equity (collectively, “Applicable Laws”); or contribute to or facilitate any illegal activity.

5. Fees and Transactions

Use of certain Services may require payment of fees. You agree to pay all applicable fees related to your use of the Service. Additionally, transactions on the blockchain network, including those made through IDriss, require the payment of network transaction fees, commonly referred to as "gas fees." These fees are not controlled by IDriss and vary based on network congestion. You are responsible for all gas fees for transactions initiated by you through our service.


6. Rewards and Incentive Programs

IDriss may offer rewards, incentives, or promotional activities to users. Participation in these programs is voluntary and subject to specific terms and eligibility criteria, which will be detailed within each program's description. IDriss reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any Rewards Programs at its discretion without prior notice.


7. Compliance and Tax Obligations

By using IDriss, you commit to complying with all local, national, and international laws that apply to your use of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations on privacy, data protection, intellectual property, and tax obligations. You are solely responsible for determining any tax implications related to the use of the Service, including reporting and payment of taxes. We recommend seeking professional tax advice to ensure compliance.


8. Privacy Policy

By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you access or use our Service. It also outlines your rights regarding your personal information and how you can access and update this information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully before using our Service.


9. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
